Question HOWTO transfer Hosts in excel sheet to file in LINUX?
Hi guys!

I have around 300 hostsname is excelsheet in one column. These hosts I want to add in one file in linux one after the another like hostname1,hostname2.hostname3,


I don't want to waste enter it manually it very time consuming, so how to transfer these files from excelsheet to a file in Linux?

One strange approach
In Excel, export the file as csv
If needed, ftp the file to your linux server
Use the 'cut' command to extract that one column from the file
You now have a list in a single column of all the hostnames
Use the 'tr' command to change <CR> between lines to a comma
