RHCSA certifcation using other than Red Hat OS

I am looking to get RHCSA certified. When I went to get an evaluation copy of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.1 I was informed that I could not download it because my email showed a personal email address not a corporate address, as I am currently unemployed and looking to upgrade my skills. I was given a choice to use Fedora instead for free. Would I be able to achieve enough functionality with Fedora to get RHCSA certified? or maybe CentOS? Comment please if this is feasible or should I just get my employed buddy to download it for me?

It's absolutely feasible. I use CentOS at home to develop things I need at work on RHEL, and have never had any problems.

CentOS is a bit "behind the curve" of RHEL, whereas Fedora is a bit ahead of it, you could say.

Either would be fine for what you need.
