How to check the running snmp version in Rhel?

Hi,

Please help me to understand how to check which snmp vesion(1, 2, 3) is configured on my rhel5 server.

You mean SNMPD (snmpd -v) version or SNMP security model?

RHEL usally comes with Net-SNMP which has out-of-the-box support for v1, v2 and v3.

See if this works in your system:

I am looking for the security model. i want to know presently which one is active on the server. if all the three are active how to disable that?

How Do I find out SNMP Version?
