Fedora 14 Update

Hi experts.

I have installed Fedora 13 and new release Fedora 14 is available, then:

If I instal fedora 14 from CD created from iso file Will be lost all my data and current configuration?

What is the correct process to update my system?

Thanks a lot for your advice and please be patience I am starting with Fedora, I hope one day also I can be able to response for other queries Smilie

No... but it never hurts to have a good backup.

Download the media, boot your system and select "upgrade" -OR- use pludi's link.

Hi guys

Thank you so much for your support and your help.

your answer have been very helpfully for me.

I am moving to Fedora and I am finishing customization for my job activities and now new release for fedora is available then my worry is because I do not like to do again all the customizations done (because time) but now all is more clear for me.

1.- Create a back up of my data.
2.- Create a media
3.- Start upgrade procedure.

I hope everything will be ok.

IMO, there is not much difference between F13 and F14; if you stick with F13 you will not be missing any important features.

Fedora releases come out every six months so there are just a few relevant changes that may or may not be of your interest.
