The lint command can be executed by typing:
lint program.c
where program.c is a C program file. The lint command also takes a number of options (type: man lint). Many of them are used to tell lint to not complain about certain things.
If you program is written in C++ then the g++ compiler will catch many of the things lint checks for.

Or

Maybe this site may help or mirrors the problem that you want to know, check it out..post back if this doesnt help much..

Question help for lint

What if the code has several modules? Do you use the command:
lint moduleA.c, lint moduleB.c...... ?
Is there any utility something like a "makefile" that checks the code consistency through the modules?
