Question Return IP address
Not sure whether this is an appropriate request, however,

Using C++ code I'm running a unix command from the pc that needs the IP address of the PC in order to set the DISPLAY variable. The code is written using Builder C++ (Borland) but I'm having difficulty finding what functions / header files I can use to return the IP address of the PC.

See ipaddr.c in my project faf, it's got routines for getting the IP in Linux, BSD/OSX, and Windows.

It's part of that project. You'll find it inside faf-0.3.tar.gz
