Fingerlines in GCC Listings

I recently moved from an AIX to a Linux environment, currently using GCC. I've searched the manpages, to no avail on this one.
Q: Does gcc have an option to include finger lines in the listing?
In other words, the equivalent compile option for AIX's -qsource and -qsrcmsg?
If you don't know what I mean by "fingerline," here is an e.g.:
6 | printf("\n%s\n", buff);
...................a....b
a - 1506-045 (S) Undeclared identifier buff.
b - 1506-435 (I) An expression statement should have some side effects because its value is discarded.

It seems nitpicky, but you get used to certain things on one platform and you miss 'em if you can't find them elsewhere. (That's why I'm a vi kind of guy; it's everywhere I've ever been.) Muchas gracias.

Nobody else has offered anything - I can say that I have never seen this in gcc.
.... gcc 4.0.2 doesn't do this, so I'm assuming all other earlier versions do not as well.
Code:
gcc -Wall  myfile.c -o somefile

is about as good as it gets.
