are 4 different array elements. As for the values in column 2, the only way to know is to try it. We don't have access to your system.

Cool, well all the numbers in $1 are unique in each file anyway so that should be dandy. Yet another question, sorry. I just realised that i will have to divide each number in $2 by an integer (the same integer for the entire column, but a different integer for each file). Is there any quick way i can do this. I could just do it in Excel, but I'd like to do it with some code. If ye have any ideas??
