When you do
Code:
ssData16 << data16;

the entire line is stored into the string stream ssData16 and when you do
Code:
ssData16 >> data16;

the first field is pop'd out and stored into data16.

So if you want to get the second field too, then you have pop it out of the string stream, something like:
Code:
ssData16 >> 1_data16 >> 2_data16;

Hope this helps

But this would give me first as well as second column data. I only want to have either first column data (which is working fine) or the second column data.
So now, want to have only second column data

Then discard the first field and process only the second field. You have both the fields with you if you do ssData16>>1_data16>>2_data16; What you want to do with them is upto you. The steps would be the same if you process the first field or the second. Only the data is changing.
