I have a question on how to make an rpm out of the source package distribution. just looking for a general procedure. Like say I have the MIT kerberos source, would I "make -C libs" or something like that?

IBM dW has a series of 3 articles which will help you in achieving your target.

Here is a link to that series

thanks for the reply.

sorry if I was unclear. I know how to make RPMs, I was just wondering what I would need to in order to make an rpm of just the development headers. Like if I did the make -C libs, would that make a full rpm? or would it rpm soemthing completely different?
