javalang.NullPointer - server connection
hello everyone.
i have a java program which I developed in netbeans.
its working perfectly on my localhost but when i deployed it to a remote server its not responding as expected.

the error appear when i tried to login. this is where the application will try to retrieve info and verify the user.

how can i test if the application server can connect to the db server and vice versa? can i test it not using a root/admin account?

What is the error you are getting?

You can check the connectivity by "telnet DB_SERVER_IP DB_SERVER_PORT" from your application server.
