ssh username changes to libuuid

Hello All,

When I try to ssh to a machine, I can ssh, but the username changes to "libuuid". Initially, if I close the terminal tab and ssh again, I could ssh with correct username but now, after several tries, the username still changes to "libuuid". What do I need to do to solve this problem.

Thanks in advance!

what happens when you ssh username@host?

Thanks Corona.

Yes, the same problem occurs. If I login with correctuser@host, the username displayed is wronguser.

I think I figured the problem - it is because of conflicting uids. I changed my uid and it works now!

Thanks!
