can't find sql file

can't find sql file
Hello everyone,
does anyone know anything about SQL ?

I applied the command: mysql -u james -p

And then the sql command:

insert into james.username set username="a";

And I presume the username got added to the database. Now how do I find where that database is so that I can edit it ?

Try

SHOW TABLES;

and
Code:
SELECT * FROM username;

also
Code:
SHOW COLUMNS FROM username;

allcaps optional, though I like to capitalize everything but table and column names so I can easily pick them out.
