Splitting strings from file

Hi All

I need help writing a Java program to split strings reading from a FILE and writing output into a FILE. e.g.,

My input is :
International NNP
Rockwell NNP
Corp. NNP
's POS
Tulsa NNP
unit NN
said VBDExpected output is:

International I In Int Inte l al nal onal NNP
Rockwell R Ro Roc Rock l ll ell well NNP
Corp. C Co Cor Corp . p. rp. orp. NNP
's ' 's __nil__ __nil__ s 's __nil__ __nil__ POS
Tulsa T Tu Tul Tuls a sa lsa ulsa NNP
unit u un uni unit t it nit unit NN

What have you tried so far ?

And is this not the same question that you already asked (https://www.unix.com/shell-programmin...ed-length.html) but for java, whereaas before it was perl you wanted...

so...are you bothered about the actual language used ?

Yes, I wanted to handle strings in utf8 format. That approach in Perl didn't work in my case. So, I wanted to handle it with Java. Thanx for your reply.
