If your program takes less than a second to run, they will be all the same because they are. Smilie

No actually I put a loop inside that and tried to execute...!

tht time also I got the same,,;-(

Like this,
for(n=0;n<10;n++)
{
lt = time(NULL);
fprintf(pFile,"Error : %s : Line %d: %s\n",__FILE__,__LINE__,asctime(localtime(&lt));
}

But still its not changing,,,

Like I said, they are all the same, because they are all the same. Time doesn't advance by an entire second when it's printing those lines. Try this:

       for(n=0;n<10;n++)
        {
                lt = time(NULL);
                fprintf(stderr,"Error : %s : Line %d: %s\n",
                        __FILE__,__LINE__,asctime(localtime(&lt)));
                sleep(2);
        }

Now that the program doesn't load, run, and finish in less time than a second, you will see different times.

logadm rotates log every time

I'm running logadm manually to test and it seems to be rotating my /var/log/oracle/oracle_audit.log file every single time it's ran instead of rotating once it gets passed 10 gigs, any ideas? Here's the logadm.conf for reference. (0 Replies)
