What's the different between C and C++?

Serge the answer mostly lies in how you define 'more powerful' and 'more flexible'.

There are many factors which decide a language and not all of them are for technical reasons e.g. cost for buying licences for a compiler or available resource (i.e. programmers).

I guess there must be a lot of legacy code out there that is written in C (or even Cobol!) and companies are loathed to pay for redevelopment. (And thats not just recoding, there is the UAT that will have to be paid for too).

I still use the C language because that is the language I am strongest in and I can do everything I need to do in C. I don't use an OO language because I don't use OO design.

In my opinion I still think C is a 'Programmers' language and if any one wants to be come a programmer, I would strongly recommend learning this language by default.

       gvrng - An interactive, introductory programming language.

SYNTAX

       gvrng [world file | program file]

DESCRIPTION

       Guido van Robot is a project developed by advanced high school students for use by their peers as a learning tool and precursor to the fur-
       ther study of programming with Python. It is a minimalistic programming language providing just enough syntax to help  students	learn  the
