That's something you need to look up before you install. Most modern consumer PC's are UEFI. Does the computer boot normally from its own hard drive?

With the correct package name (all lowercase), that should be better:
sudo pkg install solaris-desktop

There is no root user on Solaris 11 (in the default installation).
The user account created at installation time has sudo privileges.
Try this:
sudo pkg install Solaris-desktop

Having seen all four threads that you started today (from your joining till now) may I ask you to accept the advice that posts terse like yours may not attract the attention...

It may mean the bootloader isn't working. Is your computer UEFI? It's difficult for me to give any specific answer to this sort of problem, when the only symptom is "doesn't work".

Probably that you login as an administrator of some sort to do this, perhaps root, though I think Solaris allows more finely controlled roles than "ordinary user" and "root".

Alternately, perhaps you could explain more details about your situation.

What are you installing it on?
Do you have the install media already; downloading it from somewhere?
