Appending a parameter value to a .csv file???

date=$1
awk -F"," -v d="$date" '{print d","$0}' z3.csv > z4.csv

if you want the , comma after the date, then

date=$1
awk -F"," -v d="$date" '{print d","$0}' z3.csv > z4.csv
