Good Suggestions & Cool Scripts

I think you guys should gather up all of the cool, *handy* scripts that you post on this site along with other scripts members post and place them in their own category. Perderabo's date_calc script would be an excellent submission as would the mail script that someone posted that sends attachments. You could then point people there.

Surely you guys could find a clever name for the category. What do you think.

What kinda script are you looking for?
Part of learning is to write your own scripts?

its not a bad idea, however i dont think neo or too many other people would want to look through all the posts looking for various scripts people have posted. instead, maybe there could be a section where people could post scripts that they wrote that they find useful.

The following section is designed for that purpose:

If anyone has a script they want included, just ask or post and we will include it, or even create a special subsection on scripts.

Cameron...I already know how to write script....what I meant was..

sometimes people have truly novel ways of implementing scripts to solve problems. The date_calc script is a classic, it doesnt solve 1 problem, but many. These are the scripts that provide tremendous benefit to all.

Perhaps, when a script is encountered, you could add it to a new section (or an existing subsection as was already proposed). Then nobody is really resposible for combing the boards for them....add'em when they come in...I guess the only question would be "Is this script board worthy? (should we keep it to post)"
