Great idea!

We will install site specific Google search boxes on this site soon.

OBTW: I was thinking about this last week but could not think of a compelling reason to do so, how we have one.

reborg,

What do you think about this?

Where is a good place to install a Google search widget for this site?

I was also thinking about this, but didn't do anything about it.

There are several possible places I can think of.

1. A vbA module on the home page.
2. Add it to the menubar either as an addition to the popup search or as it's own link.
3. In the forum footer.

There are other places it could go, but it would be easier to do and to maintain during upgrades etc. if the required template change(s) were to be in on of the items that is displayed on all pages.

I really love the idea of adding it to the pop-up search.

The button size and general alignment were a bit off, so that is now fixed also.
