Thread browsing during search

Hi Mods,

Next Thread link available at the bottom, doesn't seem to be working accurately during a search, it goes to nextnewest thread relative to the thread we are viewing. Hope this can be fixed.

That is the way this function is supposed to work, once you have entered a thread from the search this is no longer part of the search, but viewed by the system simply as another thread.

The next newest thread should take you to the next newest thread within the same forum, you will see the same behaviour for any thread whether you use search to get there or not.

It would be nice to have the functionality you suggest though.

Ok got that, thanks for your reply. One more thing, whenever I reply to a thread, I get subscribed to that particular thread automatically and I have to manually unsubscribe, how to stop this automatic subscription.

UserCP -> Edit Options -> Default Thread Subscription Mode -> Do not subscribe.
