How To Find File Is Transmig Or Transmited

Hi vino

Actually i tried by using that lsof.i got lsof not found.my problm same as kanejm.
i tried like
files=`lsof ${ALTAS_IN_DIR}/Altas-In-*.* 2>/dev/null`

ALTAS_IN_DIR=home/test2

after that depends on value which contains files either 1 or zero i am proceeding.means if it is zero not moving that file one moving that file.........

man lsof giving error.
can u just tell me clearly.
