Is there a "add to favorite" function?

hi there,
when I found some good/useful posts, I want to save them somewhere in our forum, so that I can check them out easily later.

Do we have something like "add to favorite" functionality? I didn't find any. One similar thing is "subscribed posts". But not same as favorite.

thx

I use the "thanks" button for that. You can find your own thanked posts easily enough.

Maybe something like this?

Is that what you are looking for?

thx for the response.

yes, i think vbFavorites is the right thing. I am not familiar with the forum system. But from its description, it tells what I want.

basically what I want just 'add to favorite', like in stackoverflow or commandlinefu.com... they both have this feature.

do we have the feature?

well... I didn't expect that it is not so easy to describe this feature. Smilie

Ok, let's say, the vBFavorites feature. Do we have it?

No... vBFavorites is an old, unsupported vB modification, so since it is not supported by the developer and the code base is old, and only one person (you, just now) have requested it over the years, we don't have this feature installed.

I think it is simply too easy to bookmark "favorites" in a browser, that is why it is not a popular feature. For example, simply:
  1. Create a folder called "The UNIX and Linux Forums" (or whatever you like)
  2. Save your favorite threads as bookmarks in that folder.
  3. Problem solved.

If you search vBulletin.org and find a supported, current modification that does what you are looking for, we would certainly consider to install it for you.

However, if I wanted to save my favorite threads, I would use browser bookmarks and keep them in one or more folders.
