"View new posts"
Is the "view new posts" link working for everyone? It hasn't worked for me the last few days, it finds no matches. I haven't found anything on my end that would cause this but if no one else is having problems I will keep looking.

try removing all of your cookies then visiting the site again.

It is working for me once again, though I didn't make any changes. If it happens again, I'll try deleting my cookies. Thanks for the (in)sanity check.

I can read posts at home, then go work (different system) and it seems to know what I read at home. So I doubt that it is done with cookies. I'm not transferring cookies between my home and work systems.

I had a problem like this once. I clicked on the "mark all forums read" link. That seemed to fix it.

For most bulletin board scripts I have seen they maintain all such info in the database and simply store a session ID in the cookie.
