About Location Services in Mac OS X v10.6 and Safari 5

Location Services allow applications to use information from Wi-Fi networks to determine your approximate location. In order to use Location Services, you must have an AirPort connection that can scan for nearby networks, and also a connection to the Internet.

SLPFree - frees memory SYNOPSIS

The SLPFree() function frees memory returned from SLPParseSrvURL(), SLPFindScopes(), SLPEscape(), and SLPUnescape(). PARAMETERS
pvMem A pointer to the storage allocated by the SLPParseSrvURL(), SLPFindScopes(), SLPEscape(), and SLPUnescape() functions. pvMem is ignored if its value is NULL. ERRORS
This function or its callback may return any SLP error code. See the ERRORS section in slp_api(3SLP). EXAMPLES
Example 1: Using SLPFree() The following example illustrates how to call SLPFree(). It assumes that SrvURL contains previously allocated memory. SLPerror err; err = SLPFree((void*) SrvURL); ENVIRONMENT VARIABLES
