Internet in Terminal

Hi Guys,

Please pardon my ignorance in advance, I'm still new to Unix.

I'm trying to view websites through Terminal, on OS X Leopard. i'm expecting to see just text, and that's all I need - don't care about graphics.

I'm using ZSH.

I found a tool that will do this on Linux http://www.jikos.cz/~mikulas/links/screenshots/jpg.html

Any ideas?

Thank you,
Miklo

I suppose that lynx and links work on Leopard.

lynx is an extremely old-fashioned browser. links is a bit more intuitive -- actual menus, etc -- and has support for more "recent" things like javascript.

Found the issue - I didn't have 'make' because DevTools weren't installed. I just installed DevTools, compiled Links, and it works!

Thanks for helping!

miklo, how did you compile links? I've downloaded it. Do you simply run and install command via terminal? Thoughts? Thanks.
