C shell FTP

Does anyone have any examples, similar to the one below that utilize the C shell
#! /usr/bin/csh -f

I'm already using the C shell for some sleep, loop logic and want to incorportant a ftp process when the loop was sucessful. Now I'm kinda stuck, because the 2 seperate pieces that i wanted to put into one script are utilizing different shells.
At this point, I'd rather change the FTP piece.
Thanks

#! /usr/bin/ksh

HOST=remote.host.name
USER=whoever
PASSWD=whatever

exec 4>&1
ftp -nv >&4 2>&4 |&

print -p open $HOST
print -p user $USER $PASSWD
print -p cd directory
print -p binary
print -p put tar.gz

wait
exit 0
