Sending Alert mail

I need to design a script which will run evry hour and work in such a way that i need to send an alert mail if some value exceeds the threshold value. But, if the value is within the threshold value then it will just send once report mail.

easily you can check the criteria you are looking for in if condition if something match you can send mail for an example
