Thanks for the suggestions.
There is one more catch which we need to take care nad that is
Suppose if someone has deleted the current folder then it should send an alert to some addresses.
The steps for the script would be--

1. suppose current folder is the highest value and ie 22.
2. The folder in the next release will be 23 and next 24 and so on.
3. Suppose by chance someone has deleted the current folder, in that case the script will fail, i wanted to send an email to some person if the current folder is deleted.
4. after the new release it should start pointing to the new folder that would be 23.

this is what i have right now.
If the currentfolder is deleted by mistake then that time the script will not run properly that is my concern.
