My below code is erroring out and i am stucked in there.. could any one help please.

I don't know what your error is, and thus I can't just give you the answer. But a few things to think about are. You should have set -x in the line preceding the shbang, i.e.

set -x
# remaining code

This will give you some debugging information. Also remember when you run a shell script, it does no inherit your environment. So you will need to call your script that setup the Oracle home. Ideally with a ". /oracle/bin/setenv.sh" so that you will get all of the environment variables.

If you are connecting to a database on a different server you might need to set TWO_TASK to the correct database.

But these are just guesses without seeing an error message.
