UNIX for Dummies Questions & Answers

Although I have been registered on this board for some time I am going to seriously dive into Unix. Comming from and M$ back round in network design and sysadministration. I would like to learn the Unix OS that is most used in business. My question is if I get the Intel Version of Sun is that exact to the sparc version and would learning Solaris before FBSD NBSD or OBSD will I still have a good working knowdlege of them?

it vary your needs. If you would like to go more deep into NIS and NFS in details, i prefer/recommend you go for SunOS/Solaris.
