NAME
gst-std-options - standard options available for most GStreamer applications
DESCRIPTION
A number of GStreamer standard options are available for most GStreamer applications.
OPTIONS
The following options are supported:
--gst-debug-disaDisables debugging.
--gst-debug-helpPrints a list of available debug categories and their default debugging level.
--gst-debug-leveSetsvethe threshold for printing debugging messages. A higher level prints more messages. The useful range is 0-5, the
default value is 0.
--gst-debug-no-cGStreamer normally prints debugging messages so that the messages are color-coded when printed to a terminal that handles
ANSI escape sequences. This option causes GStreamer to print messages without color.
--gst-debug=striSpecifies debugging levels for each category, where string is a colon-separated list of category_name=level pairs. level is
in the range 0-5 where 0 shows no messages and 5 shows all messages. The wildcard * can be used to match category names.
Use the --gst-debug-help option to show category names.
Example: GST_CAT=5:GST_ELEMENT_*=3
--gst-disable-cpGStreamer normally detects the capabilities of the current CPU automatically and selects the optimal implementation for
some functions. This option disables detection, which is useful for debugging.
--gst-disable-seDisables trapping of segmentation faults during plugin loading.
--gst-fatal-warnCauses GStreamer to abort if a warning message occurs.
--gst-plugin-loaPreloadssthe plugins specified in a comma-separated list. Another way to specify plugins to preload is to use the environ-
ment variable GST_PLUGIN_PATH.
--gst-plugin-patAddstdirectories separated with ':' to the plugin search path.
--gst-plugin-speGStreamer info flags to set Enable printout of errors while loading GStreamer plugins.
--gst-registry=rUsestthe file registry as registry instead of the default.
--gst-scheduler=Usesdscheduler as the default scheduler.
--gst-version Prints the version string of the GStreamer core library.
--help Displays detailed usage message. You can also use -? to specify this option.
