makeSH - a .SH script maker
SYNOPSIS
makeSH files
DESCRIPTION
MakeSH examines one or more scripts and produces a .SH file that, when run under sh, will produce the original script. The .SH script so
produced has two sections containing code destined for the output. The first section has variable substitutions performed on it (taking
values from config.sh), while the second section does not. MakeSH does not know which variables you want to have substituted, so it puts
the whole script into the second section. It's up to you to insert any variable substitutions in the first section for any values you want
from config.sh.
You should run makeSH from within your top-level directory and use the relative path to the file as an argument, so that the "Extracting
..." line printed while running the produced .SH file later on will give that same path.

Hi,
I have a bash script that accepts some parameters as input, like:
sh script.sh first second third .....
I want to save these parameters as different variables, something like:
VAR1=first
VAR2=second
etc

Inside a script I have 2 variables COMP=cy and PT=t. further down the same script I require at the same line to call those 2 variables the first time uppercase and after lowercase ${COMP}${PT}ACE,${COMP}${PT}ace. Can somebody help me

I am trying to add variables(float values) in a unix script but am getting an error
value=`expr $a + $b + $c`
The error I am getting is "expr: non-numeric argument"
I guess it has got to something with the decimal points.

Hello, I tried to count all unique words of all files in one folder and its subfolders. Can anybody say me, why this doesnt work:
ls| find -d | cat | tr "\ " "\n"| uniq -u | wc -l
???
Cat writes only the names of those files, but not the wors, which should be in them.

I've some files created by a script.
For some reason last time the script run was interrupted for an error and the files produced by the script are undeletable.
