NAME
dbprocs - Start or stop ovdb housekeeping processes
SYNOPSYS
dbprocs start dbprocs stop
DESCRIPTION
dbprocs is a script that starts or stops housekeeping processes needed by ovdb. These are: db_checkpoint and db_deadlock, which are assumed to be in $BERKELEY_DB_BINDIR. The dbprocs script also periodically removes old log files. This command is normally called automatically by rc.news(8).
