SYNOPSIS
bool maxdb_ping (resource $link) DESCRIPTION
Object oriented style bool maxdb::ping (void ) Checks whether the connection to the server is working. If it has gone down, and global option maxdb.reconnect is enabled an automatic reconnection is attempted.
