ipaddrsel.conf - IPv6 default address selection policy
SYNOPSIS
/etc/inet/ipaddrsel.conf
DESCRIPTION
The ipaddrsel.conf file contains the IPv6 default address selection policy table used for IPv6 source address selection and the sorting of
AF_INET6 addresses returned from name to address resolution. The mechanism for loading the file, the file format, and the meaning of the
contents are described in ipaddrsel(1M).
EXAMPLES
Example 1 Default /etc/inet/ipaddrsel.conf File
The following is the default /etc/inet/ipaddrsel.conf file:

I am trying to setup a very basic dhcp dual stack configuration, so I have 2 dhcpd.conf file dhcpd4.conf and dhcpd6.conf

Hi,
Am trying to ping between AIX and FreeBSD7.4/i386 by IPv6 address..
It is unable, I configured all files like /etc/rc.conf at freebsd and /etc/hosts and etc/netsvc.conf and restarted the IPv6 network at AIX..
Please help me where I have missed the procedure.. (1 Reply)
Hi,
Am using FreeBSD7.4/i386
During IPv6 configuration, I added the following in rc.conf as
Restarted IPv6 network using /etc/rc.d/network_ipv6 restart..
My problem is I need to set link local IPv6 address auto-configured..
Is my proceeding right??
