Hi you all, any of you know how to monitor what is going on in another terminal?
I mean if somebody will install an application on my server remotely and I want to "watch" what he is doing. I remember that some one use the "audit" command but now I just can't remember.

We are running SCO Unix, and are using Century Software Windows Terminal Emulation “Term for Windows” for Win95 v6.3.9b.
It used to work fine when we had Win98 on our machines, but now we are updating them with Win2000/XP.

hi everybody.
I did tail -f to a log file having unicode characters my gnome-terminal got garbaged. I am NOT always experiensing this. i want to know is there a key combination ( like ^L ) to make the terminal appear normal. I experienced this only once for now but i was forced to logout ... (3 Replies)
Hi Experts,
It may be a trivial thing, but I am stuck. Whenver I try to open a file using vi I get error Terminal Too wide.
I am using putty to connect to a Sun OS.
Please advice.

I installed unix emulator cygwin, it does not allow me to open vi editor.

So... I'm using lynx on a Mac... I didn't know that the whole dang thing is in Terminal? I rarely use terminal. I can't even figure out how to start the thing up. I just install a library package in R.
However my friend (other users) don't have the right to use it :(
They have the right to issue "R" at their terminal.
