GDK is the GTK+ Drawing Kit. libgdk_pixbuf-2.0 provides support for loading and rendering images. It supports the PNG, Tiff, and JPG image formats. To access the API documentation, you must install the developer version of the package. FILES

gdk-pixbuf-query-loaders - GdkPixbuf loader registration utility SYNOPSIS
gdk-pixbuf-query-loaders [module...] DESCRIPTION
gdk-pixbuf-query-loaders collects information about loadable modules for gdk-pixbuf and writes it to stdout. If the output is placed in /etc/gtk-2.0/gdk-pixbuf.loaders, then these loaders will be configured and used by GTK+ by default. If called without arguments, gdk-pixbuf-query-loaders looks for modules in the gdk-pixbuf loader directory, /usr/lib/gtk-2.0/version/load- ers. If called with arguments, it looks for the specified modules. The arguments may be absolute or relative paths. OPERANDS
The following operands are supported: module Specify the modules to query. EXAMPLES
Example 1: Installing a new pixbuf loader that is installed to the default gdk-pixbuf loader directory. example% gdk-pixbuf-query-loaders > /etc/gtk-2.0/gdk-pixbuf.loaders ENVIRONMENT VARIABLES
