FcDirScan(3) FcDirScan(3) NAME
FcDirScan - scan a font directory without caching it SYNOPSIS
#include <fontconfig.h> FcBool FcDirScan (FcFontSet *set, FcStrSet *dirs, FcFileCache *cache, FcBlanks *blanks, const FcChar8 *dir, FcBool force); DESCRIPTION
If cache is not zero or if force is FcFalse, this function currently returns FcFalse. Otherwise, it scans an entire directory and adds all fonts found to set. Any subdirectories found are added to dirs. Calling this function does not create any cache files. Use FcDirCacheRead() if caching is desired. VERSION

fc-scan [ -Vh ] [ -f format | --format format ] [ --version ] [ --help ] file ... DESCRIPTION
fc-scan scans file(s) recursively and prints out font pattern for each face found. OPTIONS
This program follows the usual GNU command line syntax, with long options starting with two dashes (`-'). A summary of options is included below. -f --format format Format output according to the format specifier format. -V --version Show version of the program and exit. -h --help Show summary of options. file Scan file recursively for font faces. RETURN CODES
