DESCRIPTION
The wbsio driver provides support for the Winbond LPC Super I/O ICs. Only the hardware monitoring function is currently supported.
Support for the hardware monitor function is provided through the lm(4) driver.

The wbsio driver first appeared in OpenBSD 4.3. NetBSD support was added in NetBSD 6.0.

DESCRIPTION
The lm driver provides support for the National Semiconductor LM series hardware monitors and register compatible chips to be used with the
envsys(4) API.
Most supported devices possess 11 sensors:

IN4 uV DC +12V
IN5 uV DC -12V

for some devices (most Winbond devices) sensor names and numbers will be different.
Due to hardware limitations, fresh sensor data is only available every 2 seconds.

Chips supported by the lm driver include:
National Semiconductor LM78, LM78-J, LM79 and LM81.
Winbond W83627HF*, W83627THF*, W83627EHF*, W83627DHG*, W83637HF*, W83697HF*, W83781D, W83782D*, W83783S*, W83791D*, W83791SD and
W83792D.

For most of the Winbond chips (identified with a * above), the flags configuration option can be specified to select the type of temperature
sensor:

BUGS
Interrupt support is unimplemented.
There are currently no known pnpbios IDs assigned to LM chips.

Introduction
I have seen some misinformation regarding Unix file permissions. I will try to set the record straight. Take a look at this example of some output from ls:
$ ls -ld /usr/bin /usr/bin/cat
drwxrwxr-x 3 root bin 8704 Sep 23 2004 /usr/bin

I have a file which looks roughly like this:
996 mmmmmmm

99600 ssssssssss

and would like to sort it numerically on the first field. I tried:
sort -nr --key=1 ....
The output I get is:
99600 ssssssssss

Suppose I have a main() function with only one malloc statement allocating say some 1 gb memory. Also say my system has 1 gb of ram.
main()
{
malloc(1gb)
return(0)
}
The program above exits without freeing the memory.

I've got the Oracle installation guide for it and I got as far as:
"4. Insert the CD-ROM labeled “GFX OpenWindows for Solaris 2” into the drive."
