No stp SCSI devices configured (unit 0 missing)

Hi

I've done migration of my SCO 5.0.6 from SCSI to IDE hard disk and now I'm getting in X windows this message:
Code:
CONFIG: No Stp SCSI devices configured (unit 0 missing)

Howto configure to get this message away?
No stp SCSI devices configured (unit 0 missing)-console_errorgif

How did you do the migration?
Run "mkdev tape" and remove the tape device.

Thx a lot, mdev tape solved this problem.

I've done new setup on the new hardware and transfered the partitions.

BTW I have another problem:
Code:
# cat /etc/conf/cf.d/mscsi
*ident @(#) mscsi 26.1 96/02/02

ciss    Sdsk    0       0       0       0

Howto remove the last line:
Code:
ciss    Sdsk    0       0       0       0

using mkdev?

You should have a line that has the word "wd" instead of "ciss".
Did you transfer the /etc/conf directory from the old machine to the new one?
If you have to rebuild the kernel it will be built with the ciss driver instead of the wd driver.
All the kernel configuration files are in the /etc/conf directory.
Code:
#man sdevice
#man mdevice

Is a good place to start reading.

Thx, I added this line manually:
Code:
wd      Sdsk    0       0       0       0

now I have:
Code:
# cat /etc/conf/cf.d/mscsi
*ident @(#) mscsi 26.1 96/02/02
*
* Copyright (C) 1988-1996 The Santa Cruz Operation, Inc.

*

* attach= device name of attached SCSI device driver e.g. Sdsk
*       number= host adapter number
*       ID    = controller number
* lun = logical unit number
* bus = host adapter bus number
*
*ha attach number ID lun bus
*
wd      Srom    1       0       0       0
wd      Sdsk    0       0       0       0

and hope is OK.
