sss_groupmod - modify a group
SYNOPSIS
sss_groupmod [options] GROUP
DESCRIPTION
sss_groupmod modifies the group to reflect the changes that are specified on the command line.
OPTIONS -a,--append-group GROUPS
Append this group to groups specified by the GROUPS parameter. The GROUPS parameter is a comma separated list of group names.
-r,--remove-group GROUPS
Remove this group from groups specified by the GROUPS parameter.
-h,--help
Display help message and exit.
THE LOCAL DOMAIN
In order to function correctly, a domain with "id_provider=local" must be created and the SSSD must be running.
The administrator might want to use the SSSD local users instead of traditional UNIX users in cases where the group nesting (see
sss_groupadd(8)) is needed. The local users are also useful for testing and development of the SSSD without having to deploy a full remote
server. The sss_user* and sss_group* tools use a local LDB storage to store users and groups.

Hi All,
Does anyone know if there is a maximum limit to the number of users that can be assigned to a group. I currently have on a production server 900+ users in 1 group. I know some of these users are no longer valid as we only have 500 employees and not all employees use this application.

Is it possible to create one regular expression to match a group of users, ignoring the order of the users. I have not been able to figure it out. If someone could nudge me in the right direction it would be appreciated.
Sample data:
Group 1 = Manny, Moe, Jack
Group 2 = Moe,Jack,Manny... (3 Replies)

Hi there,
Hope this isn't too complex of a script to try to make but this is what I'm trying to do.
