Hi,
I was wondering if there is any way to find out when the file/directory's permissions were changed. Typically, when using 'chmod' to change a file/directory's permissions, the modification date does not change.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We have had a weird problem arise recently whereby a file owned by cjo:cjogroup suddenly had it's permissions changed to nobody4:nogroup. The file is mounted off a NetApp Filer volume with the NFS permissions set to Read-Write Access (All Hosts) but no Root Access.

I recently made a change to the DNS record for a customer - I updated the serial number (I use the yyyymmddnn format) to 2008100101. I HUPed named and checked to make sure it is running again.
