tape2wav - Sinclair ZX Spectrum tape to wav audio file converter
SYNOPSIS
tape2wav [ -r sample rate ] infile outfile
DESCRIPTION
tape2wav converts audio files to ZX Spectrum tape images.
OPTIONS -r sample rate
causes sample rate to be used as the sample rate for the target wav file.
infile specifies the tape file to be converted. This file can be in any of the tape formats supported by libspectrum(3).
outfile
specifies the output wav file.

Dear Gurus,
I am experincing very slow backup on a DLT 8000 tape drive.
Knowing that the transfer rate of this tape is 6 MB/s, we have a write rate of 4 MB/s, no waits, average service time about 25 % and the disaster 99 % busy percentage.

I have a bunch of wav files and corresponding files that contain the transcription of these wav files.
The names of the transcription files have the format
chp_testfile_00001_0.lab

and a folder that contains a large number of wav files (not only the ones on the list).

Hi ,
In my script am trying to renaming a file "abc#" to abc.wav means renaming the last '#' symbol to .wav. I have tried using the mv command but the # symbol is not removing and the output coming as abc#.wav . Any help on this will be userful. (3 Replies)
