SYNOPSIS
aalib-config [--prefix[=DIR]] [--exec-prefix[=DIR]] [--version] [--libs] [--static-libs] [--cflags]
DESCRIPTION
aalib-config is a tool that is used to configure to determine the compiler and linker flags that should be used to compile and link pro-
grams that use aalib. It is also used internally to the .m4 macros for GNU autoconf that are included with aalib.
OPTIONS
aalib-config accepts the following options:
--version
Print the currently installed version of aalib on the standard output.
--libs Print the linker flags that are necessary to link a aalib program.
--static-libs
Print the linker flags that are necessary to link a aalib program statically.
--cflags
Print the compiler flags that are necessary to compile a aalib program.
--prefix=PREFIX
If specified, use PREFIX instead of the installation prefix that aalib was built with when computing the output for the --cflags
and --libs options. This option is also used for the exec prefix if --exec-prefix was not specified. This option must be specified
before any --libs or --cflags options.
--exec-prefix=PREFIX
If specified, use PREFIX instead of the installation exec prefix that aalib was built with when computing the output for the
--cflags and --libs options. This option must be specified before any --libs or --cflags options.

Version 25 October 1998 GTK+(1)
a program on linux uses three libs: libutil.a libtermcap.a libpthread.a.
If I want to transplant this program to Solaris, where can I get the three libs?
Thanks. (2 Replies)
Hi
Where is the default location of libs to search, when we specify any lib in dlopen function.
And if we want to specify a custom location, how will we do it?
thanks. (1 Reply)
I think the default extension on AIX is .a
so for dynamic lib "libabc.a", we can simply link against it by specifying "-labc"
but here I have a dylib which been built by some one else called "libxyz.so" on AIX. once I say "-lxyz" the linker is only looking for libxzy.a but not .so after that.... (2 Replies)
Hi,
I did a fresh installation of Fedora17. After installation i notice my myri10ge ethernet card unable get link but the other two cards works ok.
dmesg shows this. there's no mac address defined in dmesg. Could this be the cause? how to bind the mac address to this card? ifcfg-eth2 do have mac... (1 Reply)
