How can I get data in the sk_buff?

Hi, all:

In debugging, how can I get the data in a sk_buff? Can printk print them, or which function can get the data?

Your question hard to answer with so little information. But, you have to code the extract yourself, or use kgdb or kgb on kernel code in debug mode. printk will print information to the tty.

Hi, Jim:

Thanks a lot!

What I want to know is how to debug a linux kernel module using KGDB, especially how to obtain those segment address such as text and bss or data. Now I have the KGDB in "running" and can communicate with it by gdb on the developing PC. I have already get the printed information by printk command, but that isn't enough.

Is there any article introducing how to debug a kernel module with KGDB, especially on how to get address of a module's key setgments and how to debug the initialization part of a module? What can Kprobe do for me? Do I need it in debugging?

Best regards!
kunlun
