Creating a bootable dvd/cd disk
Hi all,

thanks for so many helps in many problems!

Can anyone guide, how to create a bootable cd/dvd from downloaded iso images of CentOS 5? I have collected all the iso in a dvd but it is not booting the system. Any response will be appreciable...

Are you burning the ISO as data or are you burning it as an image? If you burn it as data you will never boot from the disc.

Otherwise, check your firmware to ensure that the optical drive is the first in the boot sequence and then choose to boot from it if asked at the initialization.

How do you burn the ISO images you downloaded ? It will be big help if you can provide us additional task you've made.
