Dear all,
I recently installed did VNC configuration on a Solaris Server. I am using VNC E4 2 7 as my Windows client.
The issue is that every time I log into my machine and use terminal ( a few commands like df -h or any other command and then close VNC ( windows).

Hi ,
Everytime after reboot when user tries to start vnc below error is thrown
$ vncserver :5
Couldn't start Xvnc; trying default font path.
Please set correct fontPath in the vncserver script.

I have been having issues with VNC. I have been gettining a lot of errors but mostly gray screens and some black screens. I think this may also be a gnome error. I know that the xstartup file is the file to look at.

Our current VNC setup is for only 1 user login, but this login can not access a few of the programs that I need. How can I add additional logins to VNC? I have only been able to find the logs in .vnc and the usr/bin scripts. (1 Reply)

I installed Fedora7 from DVD yesterday. I have previously worked with RHEL4 and Fedora4(As of RPM based systems).
I used to copy all the rpms from the media to a directory.

NAME
bssh/bvnc/bshell - Browse for SSH/VNC servers on the local network
SYNOPSIS
bssh
bvnc
bshell
DESCRIPTION
bssh/bvnc/bshell browses for SSH/VNC servers on the local network, shows them in a GUI for the user to select one and finally calls
ssh/vncviewer after a selection was made.
If the binary is called as bssh only ssh servers will be shown. If the binary is called as bvnc only VNC servers will be shown. If the
binary is called as bshell both VNC and SSH servers are shown.
OPTIONS
-s | --ssh
Browse for SSH servers (and only SSH servers) regardless under which name the binary is called.
-v | --vnc
Browse for VNC servers (and only VNC servers) regardless under which name the binary is called.
-S | --shell
Browse for both VNC and SSH servers regardless under which name the binary is called.
-d | --domain= DOMAIN
Browse in the specified domain. If omitted bssh/bvnc/bshell will browse in the default browsing domain (usually .local)
-h | --help
Show help.
