Linux ES 4 Update 4 (x86)

I have cdrom with the following files which I copieed on my hard drive.
RHEL4-U4-i386-ES-disc1.iso RHEL4-U4-i386-ES-disc4.iso
RHEL4-U4-i386-ES-disc2.iso RHEL4-U4-i386-ES-disc5.iso
RHEL4-U4-i386-ES-disc3.iso
What shell I do now to upgrade linux version. Smilie

Burn them back to CDs, boot from the first one - anaconda will attempt to find existing RH installations and then upgrade them.

Or, you could just use up2date to upgrade.

burned on cd, inseted first disk1 - RHEL4-U4-i386-ES-disc1.iso and tried to boot. Didn't work
Got message Strike F1 to retry boot F2 for setup utility.
Do I need something to do something to make cd bootable ...

Did you burn FROM the .iso (i.e. as a disk image), or did you create a data disk containing the ISO?

Now when I did burn it as image. I got message operating system is missing. I think I got lost. May be those files I got on Cd are not what they are supposed to be .. Smilie

thats what md5 checksums are for, run md5sum on those files and compare them to those listed on the site
