FTP Lgin is not working

Iam tryingto login into my Enterprise Linux 4 server, which has gssftp running on it but from the client side it is not loging in the user which I have made in Linux and it is not logging in with anonymous I don't know the p/w for anonymous user. How should I make the user or which file has to be altered inorder to logging in the server. FTP is operational but doesn't allow anyone to log in

Anonymous password should be your email address (which should be stated on the Guest login). If that doesn't work, then anonymous ftp probably isn't set up.

If the normal account isn't allowed to login, then something isn't set up correctly. Try checking the /etc/xinetd.d/gssftp file.
